Come with Dan on a historical music journey back in time as we visit the origins of Country Music. We will beging with performers such as the "Singing Brakeman" Jimmy Rogers, A.P. Carter and the Carter Family and move along to Hank Williams Sr., Web Pierce, Tex Ritter, Kitty Wells, Cowboy Copus, Patsy Cline, The Louvin Brothers, Flatt and Scruggs, Johhny Cash and June Carter, and so many others. We will listen to early Gospel groupls, may were family, such as the "Whites" and other stars of the Grand Ole Opry and the Louisiana Hayride. If you enjoy Country Music, you will want to be in this class.
