Two exciting, back-to-back solar eclipses are coming to the USA --- an annular eclipse on October 14, 2023 and a total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024. The annular eclipse will be visible in the southwestern part of the country - Nevada, Utah and New Mexico. The total eclipse in 2024 (2nd USA total eclipse in 7 years) is very special - it will be visible from most of NW, Central and NE Ohio. Weather permitting you will not even have to leave home! This talk will help you understand the mechanics of Solar and Lunar eclipses. It will also help you prepare for the experience of a lifetime, a true wonder of nature - the April 8, 2024 Total Solar eclipse.
