We will look at author Henry Howe's life, his two volume collections of traveling throughout Ohio, and of particular note, his great admiration for President Rutherford B. Hayes and his wife, Lucy. Then, Ohio Social Studies teacher of the year, Bill Young, in conjunction with his daughter Darcy Young, will talk about their Ohio's 88 counties video project, inspired by Howe's books. We will watch modern technology as they attempt to teach Ohio history by traveling the state. Instructor: Bill Young, Darcy Young
