"In my humble opinion, thre is no oterh band like The Beatles! As of this writing, we are sixty years after their arrival in America and their first appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show. They are a band that changed with the times during the 60's, with their music, fashion and message, which reflected the evolution of what was going on at that time. The Long & Winding Phone is a collection of telephone interviews that span over the sixty years. The interviews are with individuals who have either had direct relationships with The Beatles as a group or individuallyas well as those who have admired their music and work so much, so that they pay tribute to these four gentlemen in their own way. It shows the impact and love for a band that has continued to penetrate our culture and our lives to this day. The interviews appear as they were originally written with the original publication date. I've included an updated follow up at the end of each interview to reflect on how I perceived the interview or any lasting impressions and thoughts.
